A Tick in Time.

In one tick in time, the year has changed and with it so has your season. Just as there are seasons in the natural, there are seasons in the spirit. It is time to get out there and make your dreams a reality. You can experience the best in life if you believe in yourself. Having shared that, here is my request for you:

Have a Blessed and Prosperous New Year. Make this year for YOU the year you DO all that you didn't before; accomplish all you've always wanted to. Get something different by doin… Continue

Ready for the NEW in 2009

Networking is on the top of my list for 2009. I have vowed to come out of my shell socially and meet and greet in person in an attempt to get the message out there and balance the networking done via the internet by interacting and networking in-state(s) as well.

I am looking forward to speaking engagements across the US in the very near future. I enjoy teaching women how to walk in their truth, to love and accept themselves and to fulfill their purpose.

I am a self-esteem advocate, a poet, wr… Continue

Happy Holidays!!!

I'm of the opinion that every day that we live, move and breathe is a day worthy and an opportunity afforded us to Glorify God and edify man.

I believe the spirit of Christmas lives EVERYDAY; but, as my Pastor (Dr. John E. Montgomery, II) said today; Christmas represents the beginning of our blessings, for our SAVIOR'S arrival brought us redemption and reconciliation with God. I've shared that to say this: As we celebrate the Christmas Holiday and this Glorious New Year filled, might I add, wit… Continue

What's In a NAME?

(a healing poem)

I said, “I don’t really know her.”
Truth is, I’ve known her too well.
As we’ve spent all of our life together, occupying the same human shell.
Abused and confused, not understanding what was wrong.
Because it persisted for such a long time;
Its power had become too strong.
Neglected, rejected, abandoned and let down,
By those who were to love me and always be around.

This healing search began long ago; but, would have never begun with me.
For I constantly ignored the one iden… Continue

Hi Debra:

This is just a heads up - A new company is starting in 2009.  It will publish novels for women over 40.  In other words, the main character has to be a female, over 40 years of age. She does not have to be black.   The writer's gender and age is not an issue.  All genres welcome:  general, mystery, romance,  historical, etc.  Write to Brenda Frazier for more information. Her email address is: writingtimes@aol.com

All best,
Anita

Thanks Debra, I appreciate your prompt response. Glad you like my art. No, I'm not a musician but, like you, I really love Jazz.
Thanks also for your encouragement and continued success in all you do.
If you ever want to add to your art collection or commission a piece for one of your book covers give me a shout.

Peace and Blessings.........

Hello Debra,
Nice to meet you. Do you have poetry related to jazz or music? My upcoming book will feature my jazz paintings with related poetry.....thought I'd check to see what you have in that genre.

Thanks for your time.

Debra,

Your organization looks fascinating. I love that you are talking about and helping women not just read and study God's Word, but live it. I pray that you will be blessed as you write and serve.

If you'd like to know more about me and my writing, please check out my most recent interview at http://favoritepastimes.blogspot.com/

Blessings to you.
