Hello Book Lovers,

My name is Debra Owsley and I am the owner and creator of Simply Said Reading Accessories www.simply-said.net. I create by hand a full line of bookmarks, and book thongs, for book lovers. As an avid reader myself, I have designed this line with us in mind. They come in many categories, such as motivational, provocative, wit and wisdom, I love my pet, and a children’s line and more.

During this holiday season what would more perfect and fitting to give your fellow book lovers? They also are… Continue

Oooooo! I see your halo!

Glad you're back safe and happy to see you here in the community. Make sure you put your prices in the 'This is What I Do' forum.

BTW, for the next Black Author Showcase offline I want a custom book thong for the participating authors. We have a bit of time (we were thinking of January, but then my hubby reminded me of the inauguration - and you know we all gon' be drunk up in DC!), maybe late Jan or early Feb. 2009.
I like the logo on this site, but we may need something smaller. I know between the two of us we can come up with something unique for the authors.

SPAM IS SO NOT COOL!

Please do not greet everyone on the site with large images and announcements of your book or business. Yes, you want to tell the world, but learn the fine art of subtlety. A simple welcome and signature/link is fine. Let them ask you for more.
We have lost numerous members because of the amount of 'friend' mail they instantly receive. This Hurts Everyone.
Spam is unsolicited advertising, whether it is posted as comments on other members' pages or is emailed for marketing purposes.

Please be considerate. Post your advertisement in the proper Articles/Forum or Group. There are free classifieds on the Pages tab. You can post your information on your profile and even update your blog as often as you like.

We are not into censorship, so please don't make us ask you to leave. Be kind and unselfish - don't spam.
SPAMMING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED

Advice on Exploring Erotica in Your Writing

MediaBistro's Morning Media Menu had a conversation with author Jamie Brenner about advice for writers looking to explore this newly crowded genre. An excerpt from Brenner: My first erotic novel came out two years ago. The landscape feels completely different. There is not just the hope to reach a mainstream audience with erotic novel, but the expectation that success is reaching everyone, not just the genre readers. Fifty Shades of Grey really raised the bar for that. At the same time, working…See More
