What You Need to Know About Me:
I am smart, funny, down-to-earth, and very, very dedicated to my work. I believe that you cannot receive what you want unless you work hard for it everyday because like the old saying goes, "No struggle, no progress," so I live by that adage everyday. I believe in God, friends, and family. Not to mention, I am a Cancer (july 5th) who likes to have fun and enjoy to the fullest. Hey, I am young. I only live once.

Cancerian Domination

My sign is like is...

Cool and confident, smart and strong.

Always in the solitude mode, so fear not because we don't cause any harm.

Never intimidated because we still rise despite the drama we face.

Can't enough of us because no one can ever take our place.

Easy going, true, but watch it; we will snap back!

Ready to act a fool if we feel like we're under attack.

Intelligent in every level because we believe in excellence.

Arrogant at times,… Continue

I am a writer...

I am a writer who scream out echoes of mental scars.

My ink bleeds so much poison on the paper; I am surprised he hasn't stabbed me in the heart.

I am a writer who has a mentality of an adult but a heart of a youngsta.

So when drama comes my way, I don't trip cuz I know it only makes me tougher.

I am a writer that leaves traces of literary genres into your olfactory bulbs.

I'll take u back to memory lane.

I am a writer whose feet echoes out… Continue

By Dana Rettig

When the world had sliced my soul, you healed my scars.

When people said that I was bleak, you told me to keep reaching for the stars.

When my mother and I had a disparity, you understood my pain.

When I cried because my man left me, you gave me a Kleenex to wipe away the tear stains.

When I thought I was not going to pass my classes, you told me to keep striving.

When I wanted to put my pen down, you told… Continue

Excerpt of "Steam" by D. R. (PLEASE COMMENT ASAP!!!)

The men's restroom reeked with weed smoke that filled the room with heat and nausea. Instead, he kept his cool and walked inside the restroom so he could clear his head from the loud music that was going on outside. When the disc jockey had spinned Stardust's song, "Music Sounds Better with You", a short, bald, thin-moustache, polyester suit wearing dude had became a little too excited and said in a feminine… Continue

Greetings Fellow Authors,

Join us November 5th thru 7th at the Northland Shopping Mall in Southfield, Michigan for the International Urban Book Festival, Detroit. A great place to sell books and teach young people the importance of reading. We have rented the entire shopping mall to get our message across to the young at risk generation. Reading is essential! Let's all encourage our youth to read at least two books per week. Let's encourage parents to make this a family mandate.

Meet and network with celebrity authors, purchasing agents from schools, libraries and major corporations plus other members of the literary community. We will hold literary workshops, panel discussions, lectures, seminars and classes on self publishing. We have 200 author tables now available, but they are certain to sell out quickly. The cost for the three day weekend is only $225. Author tables are 2' by 4' skirted with two chairs. Out of state attendees may receive discounts on hotel rooms by logging onto our website after September 2, 2010.

This is certain to be a fun filled event. Don't miss it.

Call us at (313) 446-2262 or log onto Facebook

Life is I'm all of 26 Got up on my B. Day and made my baby girl breakfast. Very symbolic... I relaxed and released ..... Moved past some stuff and looked towards new beginnings. I am living my dreams... I can't loose sight of that! The payment for happiness is the price to look beyond your circumstances and still find the beauty in life. Thankx for asking.
