- I have been working on my first book idea for a few years now. I abandoned it for a while after a casual meeting with a book publisher resulted in her telling me "she didn't think I could live up to the promise." Now I know she's wrong and am ready to tell my stories.

This is just a heads up - A new company is starting in 2009. It will publish novels for women over 40. In other words, the main character has to be a female, over 40 years of age.
