Chiquita Board is the author of Little Girls, a short story in her first non-fiction book, It Ain’t Cute, but Its Real. Additionally, seven powerful essays are encapsulated in this God-inspired tool to assist readers who enjoy inspirational, empowering, and creative stories from real people. Board created the book’s concept, and all stories are greatly influenced by real life events. All contributing stories embrace our vulnerability and how each of us reinvented ourselves after facing life’s beaten path.
A small business owner who speaks often at conferences and workshops with non-profit organizations, has added something new to her business suite. A little girl with a fierce personality and thick-skin continues to live life and pursue her dreams. The impetus for this book feeds from my personal experiences (good and bad) as an ordinary person who finds herself in some startling situations, but writing my story has pushed me to pursue a cute for a cause mission to unlock the door for others who lack courage, faith, and commitment in fulfilling their goals and dreams.
My favorite Theodore Roosevelt quote, “Far and away the best prize that life offers is a chance to work hard at work worth doing.” I have a choice every day to win a prize for doing something I love to do, that’s brilliant and wisdom to feed to all generations.
Married for 18 years and the mother of two children, she welcomes establishing her individuality as a writer.

Please do not greet everyone on the site with large images and announcements of your book or business. Yes, you want to tell the world, but learn the fine art of subtlety. A simple welcome and signature/link is fine. Let them ask you for more.
