- I'm a former teacher and author of two books of poetry in addition in running book fairs in the state of California. As a freelance writer, I’ve contributed to local college and community newspapers in addition to a few start up magazines. Currently, I'm finishing up two new books due out by the end of the year. I'm quiet most of the time but once you get to know me, you'll find I have a lot to offer in a conversation, no matter the subject. I love to write, read and enjoy the simple things in life. At the present time I’m also a co-host on Mixed Matters, an internet radio show on the North Bay Media Review.com web site and running the Los Angeles Black Book Expo for as long as I can. Updates for LABBX 2009
Hello everyone,
Thank you for your interest in the 2009 L.A. Black Book Expo. (LABBX) At this time we're looking to hold our event next summer with the date not announced as of yet. However, there have been a few developments since the last summer's edition that I would like to share.
I would like to announce we have a partnership with Barnes and Noble at the Grove in Hollywood and they are one of our sponsors for our fifth expo. In addition, we'll hold a number of bookfairs inside the store a… Continue
