Rise beyond the shadow
Shadow boxing with my conscience, who covers me?
While I become the voice of reason
At home I thought i left him many times
But by my side, like a shadow in the sun it stayed
I generously shared my light to light the pathways of others
As if I had enough to give so we all can shine
To me they looked as if their steps were darkened by
natural selection
I somehow knew if my rays were not here to guide them on
their next step,a permanent sleep like night wold be the
