McNair said…: you absolutely have to be more positive. also, though i, too, have a tendency not to win many contests, the experience entering is always useful. for instance, when i entered my play in a contest, i had to submit a bound copy. well, i thought that was going to be expensive. guess what i learned? it only costs about $2.00 to have any manuscript bound at staples!!!! and it looks so much more professional! a bound galley is the copy the printer gives you before doing the actual printing! see each experience as an opportunity to learn, and you will never lose!!! peace, marcia
