I am an open book. I haven't had the roughest life there is to live, let's face it, in a world where everyone wants to out do each other in the "my life was horrible" debate, I have to say that mine wasn't so terrible. I simply had hardships and difficulties that I had to face and overcome, as has most people in this world.
I have outgrown the bitterness of my youth, and blame no one but myself for my mistakes and the choices that I've made in my life. I believe that God has a path for you in life, and even if you stray from that path, ever the perfect navigator, He always has a detour to get you to where you should be provided you give him your life.
I am married to a wonderful woman named Kim who was definately the answer to a prayer of need. I hope to have pictures of us up soon. Kim is also pregnant with our first child (although we do believe she's pregnant with twins!) and we're 11 weeks along now as of this writing. We definately are looking forward to taking on the role of parents, and raising a child in a house hold of love, kindness, and understanding as well as diversity.
I am also a writer, and I've just recently completed my first novel. As of this writing, I will be sending it to the publisher (DAW books) on Monday the 7th (while also mailing a copy to myself for copywrite protection).
I will definately blog information on the book as it develops, especially a synopsis and a plot.
Thank you very much for those that have made me feel welcome, and I look forward to getting to know this site and navigating it!

Well, I suppose I can't put this off any longer. As I sit here at work (I work the night shift), trying to keep my eyes open, I figure the one thing I could do to keep myself conscious long enough to finish my shift, and get through chruch and hopefully a work out before I pass out is to write a blog.
