- Writing has always been a passion of mine. I wanted to major in English or Creative Writing in college but my mother wasn't having it because she thought it wasn't prestigious enough. My life had been on the fast tract to medical school since I was a little girl. I made a 26 on the ACT in the 7th grade and graduated high school at 16. But I always felt like my real calling was something else. Since I wrote my first poem as a little girl, writing has been a freeing and mandatory pleasure. Finally,with the encouragement of my spouse, I gave in to my heart and have begun my first novel. I will also be going back to college to get a Creative Writing degree.
Check out my virtual writers group. We operate the same as traditional writers groups that meet up in person to discuss their writings and offer support to one another only we save you tons of gas and time wasted in traffic.
