- I am almost 50 years old and have just finished my first novel, CHICKENHAWK, which will be published later this month (January 2008). It is a gritty, graphic, realistic novel about a serial killer in New York and the two cops that are trying to stop him.

Radio Interview a BUST!
I stated the same thing in a discussion, but I figured i might as well post it as a blog too:

The interview, future reviews, the Chickenhawk Ninja...
On Friday, March 21st, 2008, two things happened that I hope will positively impact my budding career as a novelist. First, that was the official release date of my novel, Chickenhawk. Now, hopefully, it will become more widely available, as in being in stores, etc., instead of just online. I hope this way more people will become aware of it and so become interested in it.

This is just a heads up - A new company is starting in 2009. It will publish novels for women over 40. In other words, the main character has to be a female, over 40 years of age. She does not have to be black. The writer's gender and age is not an issue. All genres welcome: general, mystery, romance, historical, etc. Write to Brenda Frazier for more information.
