- I am a father, husband, son, brother, and uncle from Irvington, New Jersey. He is the author of the upcoming debut release Written Against Cultural Stagnation Vol. 1 The Raised Curtain, a collection of 48 pieces of poetic statements expressed with both style and substance.
"I’m about the love of the arts, culture, and my idea of progression. I’m simply a writer with a purpose here to inspire through my work ethic and be an example of the growth and change I wish to see in the artistic community. The main objective for me is to maintain a solid foundation based on love, honor, and respect, our children's futures depend on it. My influences include Langston Hughes, Gil Scott Heron, Booker T. Washington, Emmanuel Kant, Maya Angelou, Tupac Shakur, Paulo Coehlo, to name a diverse few without going into my more deeply rooted influences".

As we multiply and our numbers become greater
in a covenant with ourselves is where we must place our favor
We must place our neighbor on our level
and recognize our power lies in a united endeavor
We shake at the sound of speakers and leaders
though we find no force to move us when a feeling reaches us

Many Moons
Many Moons
On my journey to the liberation of my mind
I find many with their eyes wide open are actually blind
but I decline passing judgment, all I can do is wonder
what’s the best approach I can take to put them under
my spell of dispelling stereotypes and fighting against odds
in an environment where simply living is a job
A 24/7 gig where the only benefits you get are innate
anything greater, the freedom in your mind has to take
never for granted, seeds of intelligence need to be planted

Gained Materials and Lost Values
Gained Materials and Lost Values
We value cars more than sons
clothes more than daughters
We devalue morals
placing them in the category of the least important.
When they flash that screen everybody’s up close
Attention fully paid to the jaws of confusion
using us as the gas to fuel them
Those outlets pose more of a threat to us
than ever did music.
We value guns more than family
gold more than humanity
We devalue legacy, leaving behind red trails of sweat and tears in the community

The people spoke of blessings
Through the times when reading was forbidden
Defiantly hiding, the people sought the written word’s riches
