- I am married, mother and grandmother of four with one more on the way. I am a Christian and write fiction and non-fiction articles, devotionals etc., but I also write for the secular market as well. In fact, I try to make my writing as non-preachy as possible to appeal to a wider audience. I have completed a two-part novel series and am now trying to find an agent to market them. I am also working on an e-book. In addition to that, I work as an occupational therapist in the school system and write and do glass etchings when I get home. I recently set up an online store for my etchings called etchings and things. Anything else? Oh yeah, writing is my first love. I also love the Lord, love reading, music, dogs and springtime.

In the Wilderness
My steps drag, my breath comes in ragged gasps,
My tongue clings to the roof of my mouth.
In the wilderness.
Wearily I sink to the ground
and bury my face in the dust.
A gentle touch makes me look up.
"Come into a desert place and rest awhile"(Mark 6:31).
I lean against You,
Breathe a sigh of relief.
A covering appears over me,
Shading me from the merciless heat.
"...the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite you by day,
nor the moon by night" (Psalm 121:5).
