What You Need to Know About Me:: Alicia wrote her first story at age eight and published it using cardboard, construction paper, a couple of magazine photos and glue. A hardcover first printing. It was a best seller! She's been hooked on writing ever since. Alicia started reading romances as a teenager. She fell in love with speculative fiction when she read novels by such authors as Anne McCaffrey, Octavia Butler, Piers Anthony and Ray Bradbury. Then she started reading paranormals and urban fantasy. When not writing, you can find her reading, shopping, traveling or working on family genealogy. She's a member of Romance Writers of America (RWA), Futuristic, Fantasy and Paranormal chapter of RWA, Local RWA chapter, Savvy Authors and Black Science Fiction Society
