The Holidays are upon us....

Remember the holidays are for reconnecting with family and friends. Helping out your fellow neighbor and taking the time out to breathe. Don't get side swiped by "One Day" only sales, long wish lists and never ending lines. Take a moment and reflect on the blessings of a year's past. You may not be where you want to be but, you could always be somewhere worst. And for those who are experiencing the holidays for the first time without a love one - know that love is an gift from a spiritual place that can't be bottled up nor held down. Love is endless so, embrace it, accept it and allow yourself to feel it.

I woke up early this morning and headed out to the polls. I got there around 6:30 a.m. and there was already a line (PA polls opened at 7 a.m.). I stood in line chit chatting with my fellow voters on this lovely morning. The poll station had some minor issues but, we moved pretty quickly. After I voted and yes for Obama I noticed a woman maybe in her early twenties bent over in line. I asked her if she wanted a seat and yes she was very pregnant! She looked up holding her belly and said " I'm in labor but, I can't leave until I vote! I'm vote than head to the hospital!" I was speechless.... Having two children of my own I know the pain of contractions pulling your pelvis apart. If she can come out and VOTE than I know all of you can do the same. It's NOW or NEVER TIME!!!! Please go out and VOTE TODAY!!!!

Just when I thought I was thru with Alcohol & "Happy Hours", in & out of these streets, hitting etc, etc parties ..The truth unfolded
Every since then I've been living The life of a bartender...serving L O V E,
That pure Hennessey, Bacardi, Seagram's Gin, That fresh refreshment that's refreshing the Suburbs, the inner cities, the 99 bottles of beer on the wall, that's not strong enough for this depression. Worry Not! This that flavor that's buzzing the world, that everlasting White Russian, Southern Comfort, Alize, T-J Swan, The original 24oz of Thunderbird with the cool laid mix, for the days U under the bridge, on the edge but before you get it twisted and start acting a fool, saying F-U with your finger, this that Happy People punch, that feel good concoction known to Rid nasty attitudes, foul moves & funky frowns. FAIR WARNING: This that L O V E that's stronger than Jim Beam, Jack Daniel, Johnny Walker and Grey Goose Vodka ...This that he say she say controversy that's claiming my verbs toxic, adjectives addictive, saying my flow way too solicit, that 2 many doses a 9.0 Hurricane. I'm blamed for being potent, so my character is critiqued, criticized, constantly scandalized- but God said the truth best served cold, so I'll keep easing up on that ass and getting into their systems, altering their perception, emotions, movement, they vision, I'm a social lubricant- Created to do this, and like liquor stores- Yes, I gets busy, stay busy-- In fact i'm open to the public 24-7- 365, because I just can't fathom folks in A.A because they couldn't get a 5th of faith for the cause. I'm on my job and believe me when I tell you L O V E liquor better than best "Sex on The Beach", Appletini, Cape Cod or any beverage at the bar.
And I'm not here to kill alcohol or the party; in fact let's get it started.
