Every time Carlima went online Yahoo would inform her she had several new messages. She was always quick to read the ones from first. In the beginning they were endearing and passionate. Carlima looked forward to throwing her briefcase on the plush two-seat Elaine Bryant sofa, kicking her heels off and falling into her blue leather rolling swivel high-back chair to face her flat screen. ‘You’ve got mail.’ she smiles knowing it’s sweet correspondence from “You looked relaxed as you ate your ham and Swiss at Breaktime Café this afternoon” it read. What I found weird was how would know where I ate lunch and what I ate, from San Francisco, some 3000 miles away. “The skirt was a tad mini but Azul looks good on you.” Reply please. “I need to ask you something, I regrettably reply. What happened to the Dazzle I met early on. I was beginning to get comfortable with you via email. Now you’re making me a little nervous. This isn’t the first time you seen my day, I reluctantly admit. Where are you?” Send. “I apologize for making you nervous, I don’t mean to. You told me a lot of things about yourself. I made arrangements to see you for myself.” Reply please. “What do you mean see me, where are you.” Send. “I’m in the neighborhood.” Reply please. “Stop playing with me Dazzle. Com. How did you know I wore an Azul suit today.” Send. “If that won’t suffice call my job and ask’em was I there today and what time I clocked out.” Reply please. “I will. Talk to you later.” Send.

Carlima stands up to stretch her tightened neck muscles, rotating until the cracking stops. She pulls herself up on her tip toes, stretching her palms to the ceiling. After her 60 second meditation she enters her bedroom. Rooms To Go had been a blessing since her time to furniture shop was limited because of corporate business affairs. Her decision to go with the antique accented décor was wise and smart of her; as it complements her warehouse style loft. Everything else from sheets, comforter, lamps, curtains, etcetera were purchased from Pier One; beautiful. Scented candles of assorted sizes and designs are everywhere. She’d installed a dual spa/shower filled with exotic aromatic candles; mood enhancers. After lighting all 17 of them she undresses her 5’7 frame to expose her D-cups, hairy snatch and flat, tones stomach. Carlima sits on the edge of the tub as it fills with hot soapy scented water. She pops in the slices of 5 grapefruits. She then adds Epsom salt and lavender bubble bath crystals, then flips on the super-charged motors. Her phone rings, she lets the answering machine do its job. “I’m in the neighborhood again” is what she didn’t hear.
