I've got some work I'll be wanting to talk about in the future. Are people discussing things yet?

I am always ready to discuss plays.

As this is my second go around with playwriting, I was curious how do you execute what needs to be tweaked and such as far as the writing goes?

Reply to This

Read the script, get involved in a work shop and then make the needed ''tweaks" . As you may already know the biggest job of writing is the rewriting. Also, check out Artist Magnet on Ning.com

THIS IS MY THIRD PLAY THAT I AM GETTING READY TO START ON.THEIR VERY EXPENSIVE TO PUT ON SO FAR I ONLY BROKE EVEN.NO PROFIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where can I see your plays and/or read the reviews.

@Cosaundra, are you preparing a pre-production and operating budget before going forward? I agree it's challenging to make money in theatre but I'm hoping with my third mounting it is not a break-even situation. I know exactly what I should have done differently the first two times.

I have actors help me out by doing a table reading. Hearing my work aloud helps me go back and make the necessary tweaks/re-writes. Often times, however, I find that I'm making changes to the script all the way through rehearsal to make it as believable and natural as can be.
