Checking up on Dwayne McDuffie's site, I got an eye full of racist responses to his final Justice League of America issue (#34):

“…how many blacks did McDuffie manage to sneak onto the team this time–five? (I bet DC editorial gave him the same order as Burger King in that lawsuit–to “lighten things up around here.”)” “Why don’t they call this the “Minority League”? ”
“I don’t think anyone will support an original black “mainstream” character. I know I won’t.”
“Couldn’t they get Static, Black Lightning, or one of his daughters instead of Dr. Light on the cover of BET League of America? Ha!”
“Maybe they should establish a separate league for all the negro superheroes. I’m not saying kick them ALL off. One would be okay. (Doesn’t Hollywood have some kind of law that says every movie has to have at least one black in it?) I just think they’re going overboard with all this diversity stuff. I mean, how many comics do minorities read anyway?”

This is the same kind of crap that keeps my material from even being considered by the bigger companies. That's okay, someday I'll be laughing all the way to bank. (If I can stay out of the poor house.) lol

Dead on Penelope. Their ignorance attracts like ignorance, and keeps them wallowing in the quagmire. Incidentally, it also prevents them from moving ahead in life, literally. Hate and ignorance are energy sapping, and prevent forward motion. The path to wisdom is illuminated by the light of perspective. This type of ignorance prevents them from even acknowledging the light, let alone seeing the path. No walking for them.

Let's face it.....it's easy for some punk-a$$ to log on to a computer, and write some ish on a forum. They wouldn't have the balls to say this same crap to a person's face. That's why posts like these are rampant on the web. I call it "ITGS"; Internent Tough Guy/Girl Syndrome. They're cyber pu$$ies.
