Grayscale rendering
On my blog I'm showing progressive steps in a comic page using grayscale rendering in photoshop. It's an alternative to gradients and color fills that not everyone is aware of. I'll be adding the finished color version tonight or early tomorrow.

beautiful rendering... but i especially like the power of the ink sketch below!
are you using both warm and cool grays or are you using a neutral gray or a gray of the same hue just scaled up and down along the saturation axis (i think that's what i meant to say)?
