The one I admire

Sets my Heart on Fire

Like a fine work of art

I admire you from far apart

Gazing up at the midnight sky

Holding back my urge to cry

Stirring feelings inside my mind

Truly you are one of a kind

You float with finesse

I Long to feel your caress

Your sculpted physique

Your filled with mystique

My feelings surge inside

I can no longer hide

I'm filled with desire

For the one I admire

My dayz are spent thinking about her &

The sweet fruit she bears in my life,

I gather all my senses and I reminisce on her

Ear to ear smile and how she smells so nice.

I was that surviving rose, just barely budding

Out to absorb the sunshine,

She’s watered me with rays of happiness,

Pleasure, love, and the fun times.

I sit back and listen to some soothing music,

A little Chaka, because I have a Sweet Thang.

My heart was closed, and if her love were precipitation,

She would make it seep rain.

There’s nothing like giving her love and watching

As her heart explodes with joyous concepts,

It takes a lot more than a nice behind to give me

Mental stimulation, but she makes my mind step.

I know those who know love know where I’m coming

From or else you need to find out. For real though.

She takes the very essence of my strong manhood

And lays her head into it…like a pillow.

How can a woman take my strength and treat

It as the softest, sweetest love?

Sometimes I trip and I think…

She has to have my mind messed up.

But that’s what love does…

She lets me know that it’s alright to have a fucked up

Past, because she’s here now.

I don’t know why she loves me so much,

All I know is- she makes me smile.

And I’m like, WOW…

All of our ups and downs aside, I realize I need

Her and what she brings into my domain,

So, I sit back and listen to some Chaka,

Because I, too, have a Sweet Thang.

As long as she’s mine, that’s not gonna change. I know our hearts

Are entwined when I search those vivid eyes.

I can put into words the depths of other’s lives, but I can’t

Accurately express what she’s done to mine.

My Sweet Thang- she brings tears to my eyez.

If we should ever part, I’ll leave my heart with her, and hopefully, she’ll come looking for the rest of me…

Her response was:

Your heart as well as mine, is attached with a lost mechanism. If we should ever lose each other, our hearts will relocate on their on…That was a beautiful piece. I will read it again, just to waddle in our love.

Distant Love

My life has been so empty for so long,
no one to love or call my own.
I patiently waited for that time to come,
To share this special with someone.

Until you came from the mist, unexpectedly,
Taking me as I am and accepting me.
You filled the emptiness that laid inside,
releasing me form my bitterness and pride.

We shared endless moments together,
questioning if the feelings were true,
Not realizing how fast time had flew.
The time had come for me to part and go away,
The words goodbye I had refused to say.

I am now miles away from the one I love,
things are so different, but your still all I think of.
A day seems like year and a month feels like forever,
I think about the times we spent, and THAT
I will always treasure.

Your soft brown eyes that made me shy away,
your cute little smile that brightened my day.
Your gentle touch that gave me chills,
and your whole body in itself that gave
me thrills.

I'll wait patiently until we can touch again,
but i am now more satisfied because you
are more than just my friend.
To bring back those moments, and to
finally see your smile,
And hope that things will remain the same
for a while.

My feelings for you are now stronger than before,
and your love is something I will not ignore.
See now, a part of you has grown in me,
I love you always and forever it will be.
