Damaged Goods
If you take my clothes
If I am left nude from within
Who Am I
For when I see you
In my dreams
Will I die?
Afraid to move on
Tempting my fate
I cradle your lies
Hopelessly wondering
What is my life
Without You
And You
Without I
Suddenly I lapse in acoma
Helpless to the desert sun
With vultures overhead
No one comes to my rescue
A moment to spare
With a faint pulse
But I bounce back
I disrobe my subdued brain
And knell down in the small mirror
To reflect on my old
Flush wombs
Sores
Lesions
Drained of blood
And shriveled up to the bone
Although I am
Damaged Goods
I will survive
It All
