The respondents to J.L.King's invitation may be interested in writing but what is J.L.Kings intent in extending the invitation? J.L.King is the same and exact brother that destroyed the life of his wife and family with his flagrant betrayal of trust.

He infected his wife with H.I.V. from sleeping with other men, wrote a book about it, posed on the cover of his book like a desirable component to healthy relationships and he now has cast his net for young men through this thinly veiled invitation.

I suspect that J.L.King is attempting to attract unwitting young males through their hopes and dreams of becoming writers.

However once their benefactor has been exposed to be a unrepenting HIV infected, innocent life destroying male predator then the efforts of those accepting his invitation will find their best efforts sullied and tainted by J.L.kings unsavory back-stabbing, home wrecking reputation.

If there is any justice people should be supporting the book his former wife wrote detailing the undeserving death sentence he laden-ed her with. All his former wife and family tried to do was love the man and for that she and her children has paid dearly. Remember the victims.

First...J.L. King has admitted to being homosexual - not a sex offender. Assuming that he would be interested in anyone's son is assumptive, offensive and again...ignorant.

I'm not sure if you intended for your reply to be a warning or what, but sounds bizarre and crazy. J.L. King is a best-selling author. Who has been on Oprah. Everyone knows who he is, so honestly there's no need for such a tirade on such a positive thing. He's giving back to the community which is more than what most people who've made it can say.

When you are done validating J.L.Kings self worth because he has been on Oprah, admitted to being homosexual and wrote a book capitalizing on the misery he inflicted upon the sisters that got infected with HIV and AIDS from the men he infected perhaps you should pay his wife, children and victims a visit.

If your heart is strong enough AJ don't call me ignorant call his wife and the sisters he infected via their boyfriends and husbands ignorant for being faithful and trusting. Call the children of his victims that will be ostracized and orphaned because of his callous self serving lust for sexual gratification ignorant for being collateral damage and innocent victims.

Tell his AIDS victims that everything has been put right because J.L. King as written a book, admiited to being a homosexual and has been on the Oprah Winfrey show.

Tell us all AJ how much can he give back to the black community for the hopes, dreams, futures and lives he destroyed in his quest for immediate self sexual gratification?

Can he undo the shame and humiliation he inflicted? Can he give back to the black community the lives and trust he destroyed? Can he restore the mistrust that black women have towards black men simply because they are black men?

J.L.King knowingly, willfully and with intent created undue stress and duress upon humanity and the black community. His actions and behavior is offensive and by every measure of the term J.L.King is a sex offender.

J.L.King now wants to spend eight hours of one on one time with another inspiring life of hopes and dreams.

J.L.King in my estimation can not be trusted to spray fruit in a vegetable market let alone spend 8 hours alone with someone elses husband, wife or child. Forget about it.

Not that I know of, but this has never been done before. I know that there are a lot of scholarships and awards for young unpublished authors.

Mr. King can give back to the community by sharing the proceeds from his book with the people he infected with HIV and with emotional pain and suffering. It won't undo the damage, but it will be a start.
