EKG Literary Magazine Needs You!!!

How would you like to be featured in a national Online Magazine that averages over 1500 hits per week?

EKG Online Literary Magazine is a free online magazine published for the purpose of entertaining and enlightening all members of the literary community including, but not limited to, readers, writers, aspiring and established authors, reviewers, agents and publishers. During our first year we have been nominated for online Magazine of the year.

Our cover authors have included JD Mason, Kendra Norman Bellamy, Travis Hunter, Victoria Christopher Murray, James Rollins and Kimberla Lawson Roby.

We are currently accepting submissions for writers to appear in our magazine. Your articles may be on any subject that you choose, as long as it is related to reading, writing and/or author promotion. They can be no longer than 1450 words and we prefer Arial 12 pt font. (NOTE: All articles will be edited.)

Though we are unable to pay royalties at this time; you will receive a byline and exposure in a national online magazine that averages over 1000 readers per week. Please contact us at [e-mail] if you are interested.


We are also searching for talented authors and poets to be featured in our magazine in the following areas:

1. Book Trailers
Requirements:
- Send us a link to your book trailer.
- Send 2 copies of your book to be reviewed by our review staff.
- Your book will also be given as a promotional prize.
- Send us a brief bio on you and your book.


2. New Author Spotlight
Requirements:
- You must be an author with only one book published within the last year.
- If you have a second book but your first book was released more than 2 years ago with
limited notoriety, you may still be considered.
- You must submit 2 copies of your latest title to EKG to be featured in our review
section.
- You must submit a high resolution head shot, along with a high resolution photo of
of your book cover.
- In addition, you must also submit a brief bio, and a brief book blurb.


3. Poetry Spotlight
Requirements:
-To be featured, please email us a high resolution photo of yourself along with a poem
no longer than 32 lines. You do not have to be published; just someone who loves great
poetry.


4. Book Reviews
Requirements:
- Send us 2 copies of your book, one for review and the other for a contest winner,
and include a press kit.
- You do not have to query us first, send your book and we will review it.
- You will receive an email confirmation from our business manager once the books have
been received.
- Because one copy of your book will be given to our review staff, and the other given as
a prize, we cannot accept electronic copies or galleys. We also cannot accept books
with the covers removed.
- All reviews will be posted in EKG Literary magazine and online at www.amazon.com
