Are You Following God's RoadMap....11/11/09

In life, we‘re all following a plan! Look at a natural roadmap. Some have a paper map, some have a GPS (Global Positioning System); some simply use the cell to call others for directions.

But are you following what God have placed in front of you to follow? His Word is our roadmap in this life. Everything we go through, every decision we try to make, every question that we ponder in our minds are in this map, which is the Word of God.

Do we seek after the answers that God would have us to go, or do we try and make decisions based on our own preconceived notions?

God loved us from the beginning of creation and He knew in this life what we were going to face. There are answers for every situation. The Word of God says, He knows our down sitting and our uprising. He understands all our thoughts afar off.

Are we seeking God for the answers?

God has already laid out our path in this life. He is acquainted with all our ways. All our members are written in His book.

The Word of God says, we are fearfully and wonderfully made!

Are we following God’s RoadMap?

When you driving on a road, you may have some bumps, potholes, hills and curves. There may be a straight of road that may be smooth sailing. It’s the same in our life. We will go through trials, tribulations, disappointments, hurts and others things our flesh will not like. But God has a remedy for them all.

He’ll never leave us or forsake us. It’s nice to know there is nothing new under the sun. Nothing that we can think about is new in God’s eyes. Maybe to man, but not to God! And He knows everything on the road in our lives.

Are we following God’s RoadMap?

When we praise God, Pray, Lift Him up, we’re following God’s Road Map. When we have on the breastplate of righteousness and our feet covered with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace, we’re following God’s roadmap. When we own no map nothing but Love, and we turn the other cheek when they talk about us, we’re following God’s roadmap.

When we let our lights shine in this dark world of sin, when we esteem others higher than ourselves, when we look on the needs of others, we’re following God’s roadmap.

Think about it! Are you on the road to life everlasting? Or are you just on the road?

Have We Forgotten?...11/20/09

Do we have in remembrance of our purpose why we are here? Have we kept in remembrance of our Creator?

As the holidays roll around, there are more depressed, oppressed and addicted people in abundance. Have we forgotten of our purpose of why we were place here? We are not accidents or mistakes. Regardless of who or what might have told you!

The Word of God says, we were fearfully and wonderfully created for His divine purpose. Our members were written in His book! Did you know that God loves us so much that He sent a perfect sacrifice – His Son Jesus?

For all the hurt, the shame, the disappointments, the broken hearts. The misused, the depressed, the lonely, the abused. For all the murders, all of the kidnapers, all of the molesters and all of the mistreatments. Anything you can possibly think of!

Jesus Loved Us! Jesus Loved Us! Jesus Loved Us!

Even though all of these things are wrong (in the natural eye and in the eyes of society), God sent His son Jesus to be the perfect atonement to reconciliation us back to God. The Word of God says, by one man, sin entered into this world and by another we were brought back unto the Father!

Have you forgotten? How much Christ Loves Us? All the wrong we see, everything we hear about what someone has done to others, this is the sin of the world that is triggered by the devil.

He is the author of sin and the accuser of the brethren!

The Love of the Father covers a multitude of faults and sins. Do you know what this mean?

Let someone ought against you…are you Showing them love…Smiling and telling them that Jesus loves them? This will blow them away. Most people don’t know how to take this. And most Christians do not love unconditionally. But if you look at it, this is the same way that Jesus walked this earth. We have to be this way…

The Love of God gives us freedom by His grace! It’s an enabling Power. It’s such freeness that you’re happy all the time. It’s within us. It comes from the Father. Through the trails, tribulations, through whatever you’re going through. The Love of God will always shine through.

Jesus loved people! The same is the way we have to be. Loving people over all that they do. Walking in humility, having the peace of God ruling in our lives, being strengthened by the Joy of the Lord.

Think about it! Jesus was a people person when He walked here on this earth in the flesh!

He didn’t’ come to condemn this world, He came so that you and I can be free from sin.
Free to Love!
Free From Condemnation.
Are you a people person?

Are You Singled? 11/23/09

Before you think otherwise, I’m speaking of being singled minded!

Serving the Lord with one mind.

Only see God for His goodness. Not having a mind to look back, or thinking you’ve missed something in the world by giving your heart to God.

The Word of God says, a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

What does this mean? It’s doubt…

Believing that God will do something, the next minute, you’re saying the opposite. The Word say, let not that man think he will received anything from God.

It’s a contradiction.

It’s either all or nothing.

Believing God in faith…The Word say you’re unstable in all your ways.. Wishy-Washy..

Can’t make up your mind about anything..

If you can adapt a mindset to draw near to God, He will draw nigh to you. But there’s something we must do! We must cleanse our hands and purify our hearts.

We have to watch what we handle. Touch not the unclean things of this world. Guard ourselves against the unclean thoughts that might linger in our hearts.

In other words, have we fully committed to the things and ways of God? If we freely give, we’re freely receiving. This not only speaks about the natural things. But freely give God our all. All our praise, all our worship, all our issues, all the things that cause us to think differently about our brothers and sisters. All the things we might be holding on to…

If we do this, God will freely give us of His goodness and replace those things with the righteousness of His grace and mercy!

Think about it! Are we heading down that single lane on God’s highway? It’s the narrow path?
