Call for Submission: Top Kids Magazine
Hello Friends of our mom (Angela M. Smith):
Our name is Josue’ and Jordan Hicks and we have decided to start our own business like our mom.
I, Jordan, am 9-years old and I like to fix things. When I grow up, I am going to be a great designer and design clothes, go-carts, and buildings. I, Josue’, am 11-years old and I am going to play football or baseball when I grow up. My plans are to study hard, make good grades, and get a scholarship to go to LSU; then I am going to play professional football or baseball.
We are writing to tell you about our new magazine, Top Kids Magazine. If you have kids, we are interested in highlighting them in our magazine. Even if you don’t have kids, you can tell your friends that do have kids about us. Maybe their children would like to be in our magazine. They can submit a lot of things like poetry or a short story. If they have ADHD or anger issues, they can write about that and their feelings too; and they can write about bullying and good study habits. Each ‘Top Kid’ will receive a free copy of the magazine that they are highlighted in, and their family and friends can order a copy for $1.75.
Our first print, and launching, is in October 2009. We are excited about celebrating “Tops Kids” all around the world, and we would like to hear from you soon!
