Include Your Book in the BAS Summer Children's Reading List

Summer is just about here and children everywhere will cherish their school-free days. It's the perfect time to introduce them to new reading. We are creating the Black Author Showcase Members Summer Reading List for children.
As a BAS member, you can list your book here using the following template:

*Age group or grade level
*Title
*Author
*Publisher
*ISBN
*Short description (under 50 words)
*Cover Art (you can attach this in your comment)

When we have a substantial sized list (deadline June 21st), the list will become a pdf to be publicized and shared across the 'net and placed in the Reader's Resource section of our Articles forum.
Summer is short, so please add your books today. The highest age level should be 13 years old (8th grade).
WE ARE LOOKING FOR CHILDREN'S BOOKS. IT MUST BE TARGETED TO CHILDREN.
This list will only contain BAS member titles.

Not sure that this is age appropriate for children under 13 to read alone. This looks like something that should be directed toward parents (and they could then make the decision to share with their children).

Diane,, I wrote e book for girls as young as 9 but of coarse that age should be determined by the girls parents, environment/exposure. My book is intended to serve as a life guide which means some things apply at varies stages of females life.

THE POEM that Started it All

THE CLOSET COVE

The 1st page featured poem in Noble House’s 2005 Theatre of the Mind
By Terry “THE WARRIOR” Reece

I crawled up into the space where no one could see me there.
The woods and the forest were so green;
I can still smell the fresh air.

Nothing quite like the freshness of
The country air, when the fall
Is beginning to come; yet the summer’s not trying to play fair.

Those rustic colors and bright speckles of leaves rustle and
Blow through the streets of the woods, like forgotten critters of the element.

I’m flowing, and running and having
So much fun, just listen to the animals as
They watch the glistening sun.

“ShuussHHHH”; that sound is
From the small stream just rolling
Along across the rocks and lily
Pad beans. Frogs croak a bit, yet,
It’s not their time of day; Not quite
Evening yet, as those heated
Winds rustle the season away.

Now it’s time to return to the
World of reality. Must go down now,
From this place. This place of the CLOSET COVE, my favorite
Place. OK; Here I go! Here I go down from this place!

Here I go, Here I go, Here I go!

Grade level? Remember, this is going out to librarians, parents, and teachers and must be extremely age appropriate. This seems like an adult level book.
