This experience is much more than just a book signing & lecture. Authors and readers will network with other literary professionals that help bring a book to life. The showcase promotes reading, writing and overall literacy in our community. This is an event for readers, authors, and other literary professionals.

Special 1 PM Panel Discussion: Making It Through Difficult Times featuring financial writer Harrine Freeman, Kelly Vaughn from the MD Dept. of Housing, Myra E. Abdullah - New York Life, Kalimah Matthews - Signal Financial Federal Credit Union, and Denise Hendrick - FDI.

Meet and greet local and national authors, hear book excerpts, win prizes, purchase gift-wrapped books and book baskets and much, much more!

Over 25 authors will present their titles in this metro Washington, D.C., event for readers, writers, bookclubs, and other literary aficionados.

Children’s books, photography, memoirs, urban lit, histories,contemporary novels spiritual and best-selling non-fiction will all be represented. Meet the authors, get the story behind the story and have them sign your purchase. This is an ideal place to begin your holiday gift-buying.

In honor of our president-elect, we will be collecting books for classrooms and libraries in Kenya.
