Event Description

The Charlotte Literary Festival is an annual event held in Charlotte, NC that focuses on both youth and adult literacy. The festival hosts a myriad of local, regional and national authors from various genres. This year it will be joined along with Charlotte's very first Neo-Soul Festival. The even will cover two days (Sept. 10 & 11) and a pass for both days is only $25.

Workshops will be provided as well as a Kids Corner, Teen ...Idol Competition and various vendors.

Featured guests include Susan Taylor, Mary Monroe, Kiki Swinson, Sonia Sanchez, Dwele, Algebra and N'Dambi.
